IRONMAN 70.3 Foz do Iguaçu is the first race in the world to offer a binational course inside of a dam. The day begins with a triangular swim course starting on Iate Clube Lago de Itaipu, followed by a bike course divided into one short leg and two long laps inside the dam. The two-lap run course is flat and athletes will enjoy unbelievable views of Itaipu dam and Piracema channel. There will be 35 qualifying slots available for the 2016 IRONMAN World Championship.
