The Itaipu Technological Park (ITP) on the Paraguayan side is one of the country's main development tools. Created in 2003 and located in Hernandarias, it is focused on technology-based economic development.
Paraguay's first technological park, the ITP is not restricted to Itaipu's area of influence and carries out initiatives all over the country.
