What are they?
Three torrential 40-meter-high waterfalls descending near the mouth of the Monday River.

What is there to do?
Contemple nature's amazing display provided by the most sought-after waterfalls in Paraguay. Surrounded by well-preserved native woods, the Monday River waterfalls are located near the Brazil-Argentina border, 10km from Ciudad del Este. Trails among the vegetation lead visitors to belvederes and walkways from which they are able to view the river's 40-meter gorge. For those who are looking for adventure, steep rocky walls allow people to go rappelling, trekking and mountain climbing right on the edge of the powerful flowing waters. This attraction is located in the Saltos del Rio Monday City Park, which offers camping and picnic areas.
